Welcome to Dallas Housing Authority's online application page! In order to be added to our waiting list, your application must be fully completed. If a section does not apply to you, please type in "n/a" so we know you didn't mistakenly miss a question.

Once your name enters the top ten on our waiting list, our staff will contact you to schedule an appointment for an interview. All household members over the age of 18 are required to attend this interview. At that time, applicants will be required to provide social security cards and birth certificates for all household members, as well as government issued photo ID for all adults. Income verifications for wages, social security, TANF, child support, pensions, etc. are required for all household income, as well as six (6) most recent checking account statements and savings account statements. Any and all assets will need to be disclosed during this interview as well.

DHA staff will review rental, credit and criminal history of all adult household members, and all release forms will be signed during your interview.

Please note: Dallas Housing Authority has instituted a smoke-free policy. This policy prohibits the use of tobacco products in all living units, indoor common areas, offices and all outdoor areas within 25 feet of housing and administrative buildings. Dallas Housing Authority does not accept pets. Service animals and emotional support animals will be accepted with the proper credentials.

After completing your application, you will receive an email confirmation with instructions on what is required in order to remain active on our waiting list. Failure to follow these instructions will result in your name being removed from our waiting list.
